Assessing relationship between intra organizational factors that affect on nurses' professional ethics behaviors

Introduction: Compliance with professional ethics is an inherent part of nursing profession and the mission of nursing profession is to provide health, care, treatment and rehabilitation services at the highest standard for providing, maintaining and promoting community health. Hence, it is necessary to examine the factors influencing professional ethics of nurses.
Aim: The aim of this study was assessing relationship between intra organizational factors that affect on  nurses' professional ethics behaviors.
Material & Methods: This research was a descriptive-analyzed study. The statistical population of this study included all nurses of Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Karami hospitals in Ahwaz in 2017. Using random sampling method, 196 nurses were selected as the sample. The main tools for collecting data are two standard questionnaires of professional ethics of nurses (Jahanbin & et., al 2014) and internal factors (Yeon Han  & et., al 2013) that have a good reliability  (Alpha- Chronbach  between 0.72 -0.88). Multiple regression‌ analysis was performed using SPSS-22 software to analyze the data. Used indices were contained R, R2, F and β.
Results: The results of data analysis showed that rewarding ethical behaviors (p= 0.001, β= 0.56), ethical behavior of colleagues (p= 0.001, β= 0.55) and the integrity ethical behaviors of head nurses (p= 0.001, β= 0.35) have a significant relationship with professional ethics of nurses. Correlation of punishment of immoral behaviors with the professional ethics of nurses was not significant (p= 0.776, β= -0.03).
Conclusion: In order to findings suggests that all nurse managers in all over the organization reward nurses' ethical behaviors and their selves were as an role model in ethical behaviors.
