Assessing the Relationship between Social Health and Organizational Silence

This study aimed to investigate the relationship between social health and organizational silence. The population targeted in this study includes employees in Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Eocnomic Zone. Based on Cochran formula and simple random sampling technique, a total of 235 questionnaires were distributed. The research is a descriptive-correlational study in terms of method and applied in terms of the objective. Standardized questionnaires were used to collect the required data. The results of correlation test revealed that there was a significant and negative relationship between the components of community participation, social cohesion, social acceptance, social adaptiveness and social actualization and organizational silence among employees in Mahshahr Petrochemical Special Eocnomic Zone. According to linear regression analysis, only social cohesion could predict the organizational silence in the targeted population in the current study.
