Introduction: Due to the higher prevalence of coronavirus and also the increase in psychological consequences such as anxiety and Somatization symptoms in nurses, the present study aimed to investigate The Role of Mentalization, Insecure Attachment, and Emotional Dysregulation in Predicting Somatization Symptoms and coronavirus anxiety In Nurses during the Corona Epidemic. Methods: The method of this study was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the study was all nurses working in hospitals in Karaj in 1400, of whom 220 participated online through virtual networks. Data were collected from the Corona Anxiety Scale (CDAS), Adult Attachment Inventory, PHQ-15 Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale, and Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale was used. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and multivariate regression analysis in SPSS-24 software. Results: The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between mentalization (uncertainty), insecure attachment and Emotional Dysregulation with Somatization symptoms in nurses. There is a negative and significant relationship between mentalization (confidence) and Somatization Symptoms in nurses. There is a positive and significant relationship between mentalization (insecurity), insecure attachment and emotion dysregulation with coronavirus anxiety in nurses. There is a negative and significant relationship between mentalization (confidence) and coronavirus anxiety in nurses. The results of multiple regression analysis also revealed that 57.9% of the variance of Somatization Symptoms and 55.6% of the variance of coronavirus anxiety in nurses can be explained by mentalization, insecure attachment and Emotional Dysregulation. Conclusions: According to the results, mentalization interventions, attachment-based training and emotional regulation training can be used to reduce nurses' Somatization symptoms and anxiety.
