Introduction:The present study was conducted with the aim of developing emotion regulation training on micro strategies and investigating its effectiveness on social competence and emotional experience of adolescents with a mixed method. Methods: In the qualitative part, the documentary method was used, and in the quantitative part, the pre-test-post-test and follow-up plan was used. The production of electronic content based on the camp model in six stages, and the educational package was compiled in 8 sessions and validated by 10 experts with the method of validity ratio (CVI) of Waltz& Bausell (1981). The results showed that the CVI closed above 0.79. The statistical population of the quantitative part was the female students of the first secondary school in Karaj city, from which 50 people were randomly selected and replaced in two experimental groups (25 people in each group). The training group received the adjustment test in 8 sessions and the control group did an intervention. To collect data, the social competence questionnaire of Smart and Sanson (2003) and the emotional credibility questionnaire of Rashid and Bayat (2018) were used. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis in SPSS software. Results: The results showed that emotional regulation training on micro strategies on improving social competence and emotional believability of first high school students was significantly capital and its effect was lasting Conclusions:Psychologists and school counselors can be receptive to students' emotions in order to strengthen their social skills from the educational model formulated and simplified in the present study.
