Background :Teaching in medical sciences is associated with different challenges, one of these challenges is the choice of classroom management approach considering the diversity in the fields, their different nature, the difference in the IQ of the students of different fields and the theoretical-practical nature of the course units. Considering the diversity of management in the leadership behavioral theory, it seems that this challenge can be managed. The main aim of present study is to explain the role of leadership behavioral theory in medical science classroom management. Methods : The present study is a narrative review study that by searching the keywords including classroom management, teacher's role, clinical teaching, leadership behavioral theory, and medical sciences in Persian and English language, in databases of PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Ovid, Wiley, Web of Science, Magiran and SIDs, and in Iranian and foreign journals in the period from 2000 to 2023. Findings: 10 related studies were analyzed in depth and qualitatively. In general, the results of the reviewed studies showed that the realization of educational goals requires paying attention to changing and using an efficient and effective management style in classroom management and curriculum development. Existence of diversity in leadership behavioral theory; It causes flexibility in choosing the classroom management approach according to the nature of the disciplines, the theory and pravtical nature of the course unit, the maturity level of the students and the teacher's personality characteristics. Conclusion: It seems that familiarizing medical science teachers with different approaches to leadership behavioral theory is a necessity for classroom management.
