Evaluation of organizational infrastructure affecting the use of E-learning

Introduction: Given the importance of e-learning in the modern educational system, many universities of medical sciences in Iran are trying to develop foundations and plans for this issue.
Aim: This study aimed to evaluate the status of organizational factors affecting the use of e-learning in Islamic Azad University, Tehran Medical Sciences Branch.
Method: This descriptive-survey study was done in 2016.
Sampling method was purposive and by using Cochrane Formula (269) faculty members in Medical Sciences School in Islamic Azad University in Tehran selected. The data were collected using an author-made questionnaire which consisted of three dimensions of technological, economic, and administrative-logistic. Its reliability measured by using Cronbach’s alpha, the reliability coefficient for the total scale and its subscales was obtained 0.92. The data were statistically analyzed in SPSS21 and LISREL8.
Results: According to data analysis Islamic Azad University,
Tehran Medical Sciences Branch used technological dimension (6.656), administrative-logistic (0.685) and economic dimensions (-0.339).
Conclusion: According to the study findings, for the application of e-learning in Islamic Azad University, Tehran Medical Sciences Branch, administrative-logistic and economic dimensions should be strengthened.
